Old new stock - from a shop that shut down in Paris in the 1930s before all its stock was sold. So it’s almost 90 years old, but never worn. Wedding cake beads were hand-made, with molten glass appliqued over the base glass bead. So in this case, all those cute green and white spotty bits were applied by hand by a glass artisan. Because they’re hand-made, every wedding cake bead is different from all others.
