This is old new stock, from a shop that shut down in Paris in the 1940s before all its stock was sold. So it’s over 75 years old, but never worn. Lampwork beads are handmade using a labour-intensive centuries-old process where the glass is melted and wrapped around a steel rod. Because each bead is hand-made, no two are ever exactly the same.
